Twelve week transformation!!!

Not really ready to show the whole body pics yet, but thought I would show the face. The first picture was my school picture taken in mid August and the second one was taken around 11 weeks on the diet. I am so amazed at the difference. The upper body is where I have noticed the greatest difference so it will be a few more weeks before I feel comfortable to share the body shots. It is truly enough motivation to stay deviation free and keep plugging along!

Wow MamaD - you look fantastic! When I looked at your now picture I instantly saw a resemblance to the actress Diane Lane. There is no denying it now - you definitely look like you've lost weight. Congratulations - be proud of your accomplishment.

Thank you so much everyone. It was a huge step to post these, but I am glad I did. The full body ones will be coming soon. I compared the before photos with the photos I took yesterday and I can see a big difference, just not ready to go there yet! This is what keeps me going! Thank you!

Okay, so now I am at week 19 and halfway through my weight loss. I posted pics under my profile, but thought I would here as well. It's a huge step, but I really like being able to see the difference. I take pictures at least every 4 weeks and I have been able to witness the progress. That really helps. The photos aren't the greatest quality, but at least you can see where I started and where I am now!:)

Thank you everyone! I keep looking at the photos to keep me going. I can't believe I ever let myself get so fat! I am truly horrified by those before pictures and it's no wonder I don't have very many of myself from the last few years. Now maybe I won't shy away from the camera so often. As a journalism teacher, I was always willing to take the pictures and not be in them. Now maybe that can change a little.

JoAnn - I don't think I will EVER be in a bikini, but the thought is nice. I am looking forward to all new summer outfits and getting out into the sunshine as often as I can.

Key - I went a little daring with it so short, but figured since my face was no longer so round I could pull it off. I love it and it's easy to fix. Makes me feel a little sassy, too!

Mommabear - All I can say is THANK YOU!

Jay - Seeing other's pictures is what really motivated me to begin and stay deviation free. My progress amazes me every day. Even though it was really hard to post those BEFORE pics, I am glad that I have. Sometimes the only way I see the progress is to look at the pics.

JenJ, it is a little frightening to almost be at my goal. I am wearing a size 12 pants in that photo (I can wear some size 10s but not that comfortably) and I wonder what size I will be when I lose 13 more pounds. I still have a lot (it seems to me) around my abdominal area. I guess we will see what happens. It seems as though it is taking its sweet time coming off!

BL, I found so many on here that are inspirations and I am honored that you have included me in that group. Nine months of my life has been dominated by getting healthy and making GOOD food choices. I so desperately needed to learn portion control and how to prepare my food. These now are going to have to be my life skills because I don't ever want to see those 125 pounds again (or the 112 that are gone at the moment! Yeah, I peeked!)

Next stop RE-FEED land. I can hardly wait.

I guess what they say about the last 10 pounds might be true, it takes the longest to come off . . . but hey, you've lost over 100 lbs in less that a year! That is Crazy Amazing! If you can do that, you can kick those last few pounds. :)
