Today I started my diet and it's been alright so far. I prepared myself long and hard for this (not to say it will be ANY easier), but I'm hoping I see noticeable results soon. I'm 20, and the biggest concern I have is dinner when I'm at beauty school at night. That's tough because I usually eat out with the other girls. Anyway, it's really encouraging to see everyone's success. Look forward to talking to all!:flying:

Hi Renotara,
My name is Diana and tomorrow will be my first day on the program. I, too, have prepared myself for this to start and tonight I will shop and tomorrow begin. Good luck - I know we can do this. May be nice to have a buddy thats starting at the same time to stay in contact with so ....thought I would introduce myself.

Welcome Diana and Renotara!! You will do great!! And quickly be amazed how quickly you loose inches and pounds if you stick to the program! I started Oct 30th so I am a newbie as well. Go through the posts to get meal and snack ideas-they are very helpful! The experienced members are very supportive and knowledgable, I come to the forum every few days to see what new ideas I can use :) So far I have lost 20+ # and over 20 inches. Good luck!! Montie

Thanks everyone, I appreciate it! I was pretty alright today, actually. I went shopping this morning and ate what it said. I hope everyone else does well too! I know I can do this, and I know everyone else can too! It's just food, and once it's gone it's gone so that's what is keeping me going so far. Good luck!!

Good luck Newbies! As you will see from numerous posts - if you don't cheat, you will lose weight quickly. the first week's weight loss is truly inspiring. Really try to stay deviation free the first month (and every month). But also know that there very well may be bumps in the road - but don't let that stop you from staying on the straight and narrow and continuing. Just don't give up. It works.

Welcome to the new kids! The best advice I could give to you would be to make a plan for your meals so you don't have to scramble. If you're hungry, keep crackers and fruit handy instead of heading to the vending machine. You can do this. We all learned a new way... in our own way.
