Hello all!
I am running into some issues I am hoping someone can help me with.
I seem to be losing a lot of hair, not just the usual shedding but more. On top of that I am CRAVING nuts, peanuts, cashews, almonds it is driving me crazy.
Has anyone experienced these strange symptoms?

Hey Kimbee!!!!
I understand what you are saying about your hair!!!! I am experiencing the same thing!!!! I haven't lost this much hair since a few months after I had my daughter!!!!! Good thing I started out with a good amount or I might be bald right now. From what I have seen on here, I think the hair loss is related to the lack of oils in our diet. A few months after I had my daughter, my hair started falling out like crazy (comparable to right now). I started taking this oil pill that have CoQ10, flaxseed oil, and other nutrients in it and my hair stopped falling out pretty quickly. I did read on someone's post that they started taking Biotin, so I bought some of that this week. Hopefully, it helps!!!! You can to a search on the forum…just type in hair loss.

It's partly due to the lack of oil or fats in the program. To help with the hair loss, I understand that taking the herb Horsetail grass is supposed to help. You might want to research that. I don't think it will adversely affect the program, but ask your consultant if you decide to start taking it.
You are craving nuts because your body is craving the natural fats/oils that it is lacking. Tell your consultant about it and see what they have to say about it. Perhaps taking one fish oil capsule a day, which is allowed, would help.

Yep, my hair is also dropping out of my head, but it didn't happen that bad until the last 3 weeks. I think if you could add some potassium into your diet it would help. I am going to contact the consultant, but have put it off saying, "well, I'm almost to re-feeding so it should clear up soon."
Let us know what they say if you decide to contact them.
Good luck!
Hi
I have experienced the hair loss too- so much my hairdresser commented. I try to take a 2nd vitamin when I remember but maybe the fish oil or the CoQ10 will help? Is the CoQ10 ok for the diet?
Thanks

Thank you for the support and advice. I have begun taking a flax seed oil supplement and my hair loss has been cut in half, and will hopefully stop soon. My craving for nuts has disappeared, which is a relief. It is hard enough to stick to my plan this time of year as it is!
