So today is my anniversary I've been on the diet for 4weeks. I've been doing pretty well. I've lost 18 pounds and 6 inches off my waist, 4 off my hips and 2 off of my chest. Not too shabby...I would have like more but I'm not going to complain.

However, the last 2 days I've been ravenous. Not sure what that's all about. My TOM isn't due yet. I have been skipping some of my crackers and fruit because I've hit a slight plateau. It's taking me 2 weeks to lose 3 pounds.

My plan is to put the scale away because that's definitely affecting my mood.

I'm just struggling a bit. I guess it's just a phase but I'm feeling hungry and impatient. This is the only diet that's ever worked so well so I'm not ready to give up. I just think I need to vent to folks who have been there.

I welcome the hunger, to me it means that now my body is in fat burning mode. I read that on another website two years ago when I was on the diet, and I do believe it is true. You will probably see a drop in weight and you'll be moving through the plateau - so relish the hunger and drink a lot of water - add a cracker or fruit if you can't handle it. But think of it as a positive.

{hi} there Aubo

Yes, never, NEVER, N.E.V.E.R. give up!! :bighug: YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Please read through your guide again to be sure you are not making any mistakes, even small mistakes can lead to hunger ie: not drinking all your water every day, having more than 2 x cracker portions at one time. Wrong spices etc.

Then do go for your 4 week blood test as soon as possible so that Dr Cohen can monitor your progress and give you feedback.

I highly recommend that you take a second multi-vitamin each day at lunchtime for the next few days – remember that your total vitamin B6 level for the day must once exceed 5 mg.

If you feel hungry you should try to avoid the yogurt and cheese options because they are the least filling meals, rather have one of the other more filling foods ie: egg, fish, meat, chicken etc with veggies.

Hope this helps to bring about happy slimming once again and wishing you much success!!! {cheerleader}

PS: DO pack away that scale!!

Sasha,

Thanks! Interestingly enough I've been eating cheese for lunch the last few days! So I'm going to avoid that today and see how it goes. I'm thinking between that and the extra vitamin which I don't do everyday will probably help. I'll get there.....I've been doing things with a bit of trial and error. So this is just another area where I need to try a few different things until I get to a comfortable place!

The scale is going away my husband is hiding it for me!

Thanks again everybody! I find this board so useful just for the support because everyone here knows what I'm going through...it's comforting!
