Oh, I have food dreams all the time. And I always dream about sweets. I wake up sweating and nervous that I deviated...and am so relieved to discover it was just a dream!
I haven't had on in awhile but my favorite was eating Joe-Joe's (which are like Oreo's Trader Joe's makes them- so good) w/ a glass of milk- I woke up with a knot in my stomach- then realized it was a dream. I actually caught myself checking the mirror for a milk/cookie mustache- lol

Yeah, I've started to have them too. Same thing, it seemed so real I had to tell myself in the dream that this was a dream. I can't remember now what I was eating but whatever it was, it was soooo bad for me.

I had a dream last night that I was at a party or something with chocolates, peanuts, and some other things laid out, and in my dream I rationalized that if I just put it in my mouth, sucked on the food, and then spit it out, I wasn't cheating. I woke up and laughed. {taz}

I had a food dream too. I am doing well on Cohens and then while I am making a snack for my children I lick my finger unthinking-ly and bam I am like "OH NO! I blew my diet!!!" Then I am this out of control monster eating everything in sight. So scary! When I woke up I had to make sure it wasn't real. what happened to good dreams where I go shopping or meet a celebrity?

You guy's are funny food dreams who would of thought it was possible. Ive had dreams about going to red lobster or olive garden and i tell the waitress here is my list weigh portions and no wierd spices either then she comes out and throw's the food in my face and say's go to weight watcher's fat ass. so im just scared and stay away from resturants all together.

Jay,
You made me laugh out loud on that post! My food dreams in the beginning were horrible! I would wake up in a panic that I had cheated! I would dream about apple pie with frosting?

This is going to sound weird, but ever since I came to accept that sugary foods were out of limits for me, I dream about fruit. Yum! Mangos, apples, apricots, peaches, nectarines. I just see this giant bowl filled with fruit and I cannot help myself. The longer my program goes the more I find I am beginning to really develop an intolerance to greasy and oily foods; even smelling it makes me feel queasy.

Oh Oopsie you are so good... Dreaming of fruits...Actually I daydream about cracker time.
Jay your dream was hilarious!
And Mommabear I am proud to say that apple pie with frosting sounds yucky! Maybe I'll be good like oopsie and dream about fruit tonight...and crackers of course!

I ran out of crackers a few days ago and haven't been able to get more. Man I miss them! But you know you can make Apple Pie with diet coke, cinnamon, apples, and cracker crumbs, right?
I'm dreaming about that right now...but I ran out of Diet Coke too! XD

Thanks for the idea Apachejenn! I am not sure that I am ready to brave the sweet stuff yet. A bit too new I think. Oh and I am truly sorry you ran out of crackers and diet coke. Bummer!
