>>During the Refeeding Program 50 ml of milk is re-introduced and you can have some milk in your tea and coffee between meals, you just need to be careful that you don't have too much milk especially in the morning as it can trigger insulin. If you trigger insulin you will be hungry again at 10 am.
In the Refeeding Document Dr Cohen does say the following:
Remember the side effects of milk: Post nasal drip, sinus, headaches, snoring, and asthma. If you are sensitive to milk, why not stay away from milk altogether?! Also remember: Milk = Protein + Sugar!!! If you have milk in the morning, it might trigger insulin and cause hunger as early as 10 a.m. << shasha wrote...
hi, shasha! :flower:
i'm very sure u r the rite person 2 ask whaz been on my mind 4 very long- way longer than i've been on the program...
how do sientisz xplain y milk is having such negative effecz on us -regardless of the fact that we r no calves :cow: & there4 iz obviously not quite suitable 4 us-
but, cream-cheese, yoghurt and sour cream dont seem 2 do us all that bad, yet r recommended in the program.
is my knowledge wrong or r the producz we gain from milk easier 2 digest-
i ask u, cause iz obvious that the cohen-research did a bit of homework on the milk-issues.
as far as i'm concerned i leave milk out of the eating plan 4 boybee and me, yet big boy cant seem 2 do without. all of us have dairy-producz, though
(otherwise i wouldnt know where 2 get my protein from.)
