WOO HOO! :jumping2: I am jumping up and down because I am so excited for you! I was so excited someone came by my office and asked if I was doing jumping jacks! Now that I think of it, that's a GREAT IDEA! I'll do a few sets and see if that helps me lose MY weight! ;)

I LOVE seeing all the weigh ins because it lets me know that this IS possible and that it IS going to happen!

Thank you the Megsy and EVERYONE who shares their losses, their successes, their worries, their EVERYTHING!

I Love being on thsi journey with you all!

Honestly.... what would I do without you great gals?!:love7:

Thanks Flwrgrlie and BarbieGRRRL... that first weigh in is sooo exciting cos you know you've lost weight and putting an amount to it just quantifies all the effort!

It's a great new way of life!! And Barbie... thanks again for the great imagery from your message -

I am so proud of you! I bet you are just :cloud9:

And here I was excited today because I am wearing pants that haven't fit me since before my injury. You are making me antsy for my first weigh in and that's over 2 weeks away! AARRRGHHH!

Is it cheating to use a fat loss monitor programmed with my starting weight? I checked it today and my fat percentage and BMI are going down! So if it's cheating... I just admitted it to the world! Well, at least to the 1PD World! :embarrassment:

So what is your first reward?

Megsy
02-28-2008, 12:32 PM
Thanks Barbie, I am on cloud nine for sure!

And so you should be excited about fitting into smaller pants!! There's no feeling like that is there? My hubby refers to legs as "choppees" (I know... go figure) and he's commenting all the time about how good my "choppees" are looking. Always brings a smile to my face for two reasons!

I know what you mean about getting anxious - I reckon for the past week I've been having dreams about cheating!! Like eating icecream and feeling horrible afterwards, 2 nights ago I dreamt I was chomping on crusty bread in a cheesey dip and didn't even realise I was doing it until it was too late! Talk about nightmares! At least it's only in my dream state and not in reality!

And as far as cheating goes ... is it cheating or motivation? I don't know, I have a girlfriend back in Oz that lost 77lbs and she weighed regularly to motivate herself. I say do what works for you (but don't tell the Cohen :cop:..) I know they have very valid reasons for their ruling on when to weigh. So far I haven't weighed up until the 4 week mark, however I'm not sure if I won't jump on my new best friend when I'm feeling de-motivated in the future...?

I'm sure Shasha will add her comments.

My first reward? Well it was going to be a massage, but on Monday I was having a sook day missing all my family and friends back in Oz and my darling hubby has offered that we fly my stepmum over for a month... gee....let me think!! So hopefully in a week I'll be driving to Denver to surprise her with the new slimmer me, we're just seeking the best deal re flights.
I can't think of a better reward than that!:jumping2:

MEGSY U R A STAR!!!!
:party2:{band}:party6: GIRL U ROCK!!!!
well, how does that feel?
and knowing that u lost everything where it should b (gone) hihi--
i lost my 19 and something pounz on the chest alone, it seems!!
U DID REALLY GREAT AND I'M SOO VERY HAPPY 4 U!!
this diet really worx amazingly fast....

btw: i also ate some very very forbidden goodies (cant even recall what it was, as i opressed the memory)...
..in my dreams- and awoke from the fright that i had rite afterwarz- r we well trained or what?!?!?!: cohen-cop:'s waching us-kind a thing.

barbie, the scale thing i wouldnt b so hard on myself, though..
i weighed myself till 5 days ago every morning 2 motivate myself- just like your friend, then elias started being so sick and i didnt bother anymore... but find myself taking things not so strict anymore.. i think more often of cheating or what this and that would taste like.. i'm a bit diet-tired at present...
the scale-ban is a rule 4 most people who r discouraged easily and who r impatient, i think.
so, if it workx differently 4 u, u r old enough 2 know what's the right thing 2 do 4 u.

girls, i'm so happy {grouphug1}that we all r in this 2gether and soo very successfull!! cheerio!!!

Megsy- Wow!!! Congrats on your fantastic weight loss. It will amaze you that this is the week that everyone will notice your weight loss. I'm ending my week 5 and for the last week I have had so many people tell me it was time for new pants!!!! Enjoy your reward!

Thanks Shasha, Cyberella and Amylynn! It sure does feel good.

Cyberella: you're the one that rocks! The dreams are bizaar aren't they, I wonder if others have dreams like that too? I've always had vivid dreams...I even dreamt I was snogging Brad Pitt once - I like those ones!!
And your poor little man, not nice being sick for either of you is it? I hope it all gets out of his system (literally) very soon.
And I've been on the same page when you get diet tired. I cooked hubby and Elly the yummiest hamburgers last night, the house was filled with delicious smells and it wasn't that I wanted one - but I hadn't really thought about what I wanted to cook myself and ended up opting for the reliable chicken curry soup as it was easy... I'm known for not being the most organised person in the world, actually quite famous amongst family and friends - and the 1PD doesn't really work unless you plan each meal for the day, especially when you've got things to do. So when I have been caught out (only once so far), the quick option isn't really an option!?

And the ticker I think is another admin issue. I updated it straight away and I went in again just before and on the amendment page it all looks good - but it's not transferring to all my posts?

Hi Amylynn - I'm already out of pants, but persisting for the time being - might even have to pinch one of my husbands belts! I look forward to comments and especially next Friday when I pick up my step-mum from the airport!

Talk again soon all

well, honey...
.. who can blame us 4 that kind of dreams?!?!?! :flirt:
i know xactly what u mean... ;)
also, diet-fatigue wise: i normally never plan- just open the fridge and ask my tummy what he's suggesting-
obvoiously i make sure i got everything at home that i like..
but i'm sooooooooooo very sick of dumping food-
baby is a leight-weight and not very much in2 eating, he orders stuff and leaves it after 3 bites. and raphael refruses 2 eat elias' vegetarian food- i can hardly say "leftovers" as he barely touches his meals...
after trying it a second time, off it goes in2 the waste.
I HATE IT!!!!! or arguing with the adolescent weirdo about food he "has" 2 eat--poor thing --- {pan}
is it ok 2 sometimes feel like throwing food at his 17 year-old?!?! does anyone out there understand me?!

the neverending ticker story-- i knew y i didnt have 1 yet...
besides the fact that i dont know how far i want 2 loose weight (that was the initial reason y i still didnt choose 1 4 me).

hey, megs-
have fun going 4 some hot clothes- but just a few, as they r just "items in transit"..
i will not easily run oút of sizes, as i have 7 closets full with 5 different sizes- i'm a sizomelion-- get my drift?...

:clapping:Congratulations Megsy!!! That is amazing progress. Yes - your mother in law will be amazed and it is so wonderful to hear the compliments. :clapping:I just visited my Pops-in-Law after being on program 5 weeks and he was amazed at how I looked. Kept commenting on it over and over and said I even look younger too!

So funny all - I just posted on another thread about the dreams. I keep having dreams about cheating too and I wake up so happy that it was only a dream! Great job Cohen Police at keeping us so motivated even while we sleep! This diet works so well I don't want to do anything to screw it up. I had not been able to lose even 5 pounds and keep it off over the past two years and now I'm down 20 pounds!!! I too, weigh myself more often. (Again, sorry Shasha) but I cannot wait to see and I do realize that if it isn't what I think it should be I do not let it demotivate me. For instance, this week I hadn't lost much lbs but my clothes kept feeling looser all week so I know the diet is still working.

Also - Went swimming in Palm Springs and it was the first time in a LONG time that I wasn't embarrassed to be seen in my swim suit! I can't wait for summer!:surf:

{hi} Bronwyn, great to have you back "home"... we missed you! I bet you couldn't get the smile off your face when you were out swimming, congratulations on feeling so good about yourself - that's such a huge milestone. {superman} Gee - that's something I haven't felt for 15 years so I can't wait! For visa reasons our family need to leave the country and re-enter the US before Oct this year, so I'm referring to it as "the holiday we have to have"! I'm aiming for the Bahamas or some other exotic beach resort and donning a swimsuit for the first time in as many years. That's going to be my final reward - feeling good and comfortable with my slim, healthy body.... on an amazing beach somewhere!
The thing about the dreams is bizaar isn't it? I didn't know we received subliminal messages aswell - what a bonus! Maybe they should write that under the "what to expect on this program" section of the website!{lol}

hey, bron!!!
good 2 have u back!!!! was wondering where u were..
swimming and beaching it was!!!
so happy 4 u 2 not b embarrassed anymore-
girl, i know what u mean!!!! => {shower}
i only start now 2 feel a bit more confident about me in a swimsuit or in underwear-- :innocent4:

but at present i'm a bit frustrated about my bossom- i keep loosing my weight solely on my chest, it seems!!! HEEEEEELLLP!!!{scream}

hey, megsy!
iz soo good 2 have a vivid imagination of your goal and an actual event which u r heading 4!! :surf:
good idea!

Hi Girls,

Yes - It did feel good and also because I know I'm not even half way done yet!!! I can't imagine what I'm going to look like at the end of this journey. I've still got a way to go, but this is the least I've weighed and the smallest I've been in a very long time. Sorry to hear about losing your bosom Cyberella. Funny thing is I wish mine would go away. I was a ballerina growing up (quit dancing at about age 21 and started partying and weight gaining) so to me the perfect look is no boobs!!! Now I've got these things and I hate them and they seem to be the last things shrinking on me. Which we could switch!

Megsy - That is so cool about your "forced" vacation. That is wonderful to have a picture in your mind of where you can show off your hot new body!

{hi} there Everyone

Sorry, but that does it!
We are going to have to open up an OFFICIAL BUST SWOP SHOP!!!

Sorry, but I had to take a moment to {rofl} (not at anyone, but with us all) we are never happy with the cards we get dealt - those that got bust don't want it and wish they could loose it the sooner the better, those who are loosing it too soon desperately want it back again... What are we to do girls??

Open an official BUST SWOP SHOP???

I think you all deserve some :love7: because I am very proud of all of you!!!

WELL DONE!!! To each and every one of you!!! You are all walking your own special journey and despite some challenges, you have found ways in which to make this work for you!!! It's so nice to see you encouraging your DIET BUDDIES, all I can say is please stay motivated, stay on diet and stay positive! Don't every loose your hopes and dreams! Hold them tight in both hands!!!
YOU CAN DO IT!!!

So the next shot will be when I'm 146 pounds!

Bravo, Megsy! Now, why would you not want all the attention you must be getting, you slim lovely?! Anyway, take it from a brunette, if you want less attention, lose the blonde hair :flirt: 'cuz us brunettes don't get nearly as much flirtation (at least, here in Hollywood!).

Megsy

Hey Mrs Peel,
I've actually got a hairdresser's appointment Thursday week, just before my birthday - so I may just give your comment a bit more thought. I've dabbled with dark red hues before, but both my mum and sister are redheads so I've always ended up going back to blonde.
Just a curious aussie gal here :innocent4:.... I'd love to know the program/show you work on... but I certainly respect your anonaminity (spelling???). How long have you worked in the world of "Hollywood"? Has it been your only career?

Hey, Megsy!
I have been in film production for over 25 years, so yes, it's pretty much my only career. I was a typesetter prior to that, and aspiring actress.
If you have private messages enabled, I will answer your question that way . . .

Redhead, huh?

03-24-2008, 02:43 PM
Hi Mrs Peel,
I just tried sending my first private message to you after adding you to my buddy list. It said you have not chosen to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive them? I can't seem to work out how you "turn them on" either so I can receive them? Any ideas?

MrsPeel

Huh, let me check - I have enabled receiving private messages, but maybe it got turned off again.

Stand by . .
