OK, ladies. I did it. I was nervous and put it off as long as I could but I came to my limit because if I didn't have breakfast soon I wouldn't be able to eat lunch until 1:00 pm so I went for it and here are my results:
weight loss 16.5 lbs
inches lost:
bust 3.5"
waist 5.75" (this is where I always lose the most)
hips 1"
I feel pretty good about it. I mean, if I keep up at this pace that would be a total loss of almost 50 lbs in the 12 weeks. That's pretty amazing! I've been having some week moments this past week. I haven't been bad but this past week was difficult for me. I kept walking away from temptation but it was kind of a downer to have a difficult time being 4 weeks in. It was probably due to my period but I made it through and this is the beginning of a new week - 16.5 lbs lighter!

CONGRATULATIONS FLOWERGIRLIE!
This is me bowing down to you! That is an amazing accomplishment. Sorry to hear that you had a rough time this last week, but you did it and look at the results!!! There will be up and down times in the road ahead but we'll all get through it together. Now, do like I suggested to Amylynn, and find something that weighs 16.5 pounds. You'll be amazed that you were just carrying that extra weight around and now it is gone baby gone! And the inches - especially off your waist - amazing!! You go girl!

flwrgrlie - That's AWESOME!!! Well Done!!! :party8:
You will see it will just get easier and when you lose this amount of weight in such a short period of time - it is SO motivating!!! But, please, don't be demotivated if you are not going to lose the same weight in the next 4 weeks...:praying:

Thank you for all my warm fuzzies from you all. It's great to have cheerleaders on my side. (Flwrgrlie-I hope you son is feeling better.) I felt great yesterday. I had to go to my husband's banquet and I got to wear one of my skinner dresses. I got a little frustrated because I didn't look like I wanted too, but I'll get there. I lost 60 lbs. on another weight loss program two years ago and gained back 50 of them. So I know what a skinner and healthier me is like. I just can't wait to be that person again.
Thank you my friends!:)

{hi} there :flower: Grlie
{congrats} on having lost 16.5 pounds and all those inches!!!
That is really WONDERFUL... Talk about FLOWER POWER AT WORK!!! :clapping3:
Nobody said dieting was always going to be easy... there are road bumps to be careful of on your way... Every time you face a difficult moment I want you to say to yourself:
THIS MAY BE DIFFICULT,
BUT IT IS WORTH IT!!!
YOU ARE DOING VERY, VERY WELL and all your Cyber Buddies are so proud of you!!!
So please keep on KEEPING ON!!!
Thanks everyone... Bronwyn, Amylynn, Mama & Cyberella, your understanding support and love just does so much for your fellow Diet Buddies!!!
PS: Note to everyone, most clients do report their fastest progress in the first 4 weeks, so your next loss will likely be a bit slower, but remember, you are moving in the right direction and if you keep walking, you will get there...

KEEP GOING!!! You're doing GREAT!!!!
My weight loss was indeed fastest in the first month if I looked at it as only "pounds lost"; however when I looked at my weight loss as "percentage of body weight lost" it stayed fairly consistent over the 24 weeks I was on the 1PD...it just took awhile longer to lose the last 10 pounds than it did to lose the first 40 -- but I lost the same PERCENTAGE of my weight (40 pounds of 257 pounds vs 10 pounds of 155) :-)
KEEP GOING!

I've finally gone down a size (I was an 18/20 when I started) and Gailstout, I took your advice and tossed out all my 20's and 18's last night! IT FELT GREAT!!!!! I had a whole wardwrobe of 16's that I got to pull out and try on last night and they all fit! YAHOO!!!:jumping2:

VERY VERY VERY WELL DONE! (Doesn't it feel GREAT to be THIN again!?!?) The sizes will start coming off faster for you now!
The fun part happens when you melt out of ALL of your clothes and get to buy MORE :-)!!!
KEEP GOING FLWRGRLIE!!!

How great that must feel physically and emotionally to throw out the big clothes and try on smaller ones - that fit!! Awesome Flwrgrlie - can't wait to do the same. My clothes are loose too, but as our whole family came over to America with our entire life in 6 suitcases, none of my smaller clothes came with me. I'll have to look out for some thrift shops very shortly!
And Gail - I really appreciated your point above about the weight loss percentage being constant throughout your journey. Very important to realise that the ratio remained the same, it will definitely help me for the remainder of my journey. Thanks!

{hi} there Megsy
I refer to your statement above: the weight loss percentage being constant throughout your journey...
And want to say that I do not want you to except the wrong thing... most of our clients on the 1st Personal Diet Program report their FASTEST progress in the first 4 weeks.
Following this, lots of clients do still continue to loose weight at a steady rate as long as they continue to follow their eating plan 100% but more often than not, they loose weight at a bit of a slower rate. To give you an example of what I mean, a lady may report loosing 15 or so pounds in her first 4 weeks, in the next 4 weeks she could report loosing 11 pounds and this can continue more or less until she is at goal.
Obviously this slight drop in weight loss may not be experienced by everyone, because every single person is so very, very different.
But what I have explained more than often the case - unless she is making mistakes in her first month, eliminating them after her follow up blood test and then sticking to the eating plan better after her first 4 weeks...
As you all know, deviations cause slower weight loss, so let that knowledge encourage you to always follow you eating plan 100% so that you can complete your road to your goal as fast as possible.
I'm really looking forward to seeing your progress {cheerleader}
:thinking: Also, in the second 4 weeks ladies often will notice that their clothes become quiet a bit looser FAST... it seems to take a bit of time for some people's bodies to shrink into the very rapid weight loss that they experienced in the first 4 weeks.{rofl}
