Well... The four week weigh in is finally here. I got up early to do my weigh in. I was driving myself crazy because I couldn't find the tape measure. Well, here it is....I lost 16.5 lbs., 2 inches in the chest, 2 inches in the waist, and 2 inches in the hips...a total of 6 inches. I am proud to say that I followed the plan a 100% and to me that was the biggest accomplishment. I can't believe I had that much willpower. Thank you to all for your support for the last 4 weeks. I couldn't have gotten this far on my own. I have read and tried your suggestions and recipes. Thank you for helping me on my journey to a healthier me.

Congratulations Amylynn!!!! You go girl!!! That is so awesome and doesn't it feel so good!! My favorite thing to do is to find things that weigh how much I've lost and imagine that all this time I've been carrying around that extra weight. 16.5 is a lot and is amazing. Good for you on sticking to this 100%. I was surprised at my strength and willpower on this too, but when you see and feel the results it sure makes it easier. Keep on doing what you're doing and we'll look forward to seeing those adorable shoes move closer to your new wardrobe! I can't wait to go shopping at the end of this thing!

I agree with Bronwyn - please try to find something that weighs 16.5 pounds... then try to carry it around for a while. You will be surprised at just how much that weighs!!! and then rejoice because that weight is now: G.O.N.E.!!!! YAAAAAAAAY!!!
Remember, on your ticker THOSE shoes are made for WALKING!!! So please keep on doing just what you have been, you are well on your way to achieving your goal!!!

Amylynn,
Once I reported my results to the Dr's I received a reply that I should get my blood retested and "To order your blood test, please click on the link: "Blood Test Order" under "Your Links" on your Personal Page page." From the sound of the response, not everyone has to get a second blood test but just thought I'd share the info. Thanks for the well wishes for my son. He is feeling much better. We even baked some cookies last night and I didn't have any (including any batter!).
Have a great week!

Flwrgrlie- I'm glad to hear about your son. You are a brave woman to be baking! My daughter (we call her Rachel Ray) loves to bake with me. The poor thing keeps asking when we are going to make cookies. I sent her to Grandma's house to bake. I know my weaknesses. Cookies and brownies are mine especially the batter. I checked on my blood test and I didn't get a request for a re-test.
Does anybody know why some people do a re-test at the 4 weeks and some don't?
Keep up the hard work.

My secret to avoid temptations - Peppermint Sugar Free Gum. The strong kind. They have pot lucks and free lunches at my work constantly. I just carry a pack of strong sugar free peppermint gum and pop in a piece when the temptation gets great or sometimes I even do it when I know they are starting to bring out the food. Especially Chinese. Nothing smells as awesome as Chinese food - yum! BUT - NOTHING tastes good mixed with Peppermint gum! (And if it's strong enough, it clears the smell of the food, too). Before baking cookies, I just popped in a piece! I'm just careful not to have to much (my diet says no more than 5 pcs a day) so I try not to have more than 3 and I really only use it when I'm tempted so there are many days I don't have any at all but it's my secret weapon and it works for me!:quiet::D

Maybe we need to get Willy Wonka to re-invent some Chinese-flavored sugarless gum, do you think :-)?

{hi} there Amylynn
:thinking: After 4 weeks you will receive an e-mail enquiring about your progress. You need to answer this e-mail with your updated progress. Once you have replied by posting a message to your consultant on your Personal Page, you will be asked to go for your follow up blood test. (When posting your progress to the consultant, please remember that they cannot see your Personal Page so please send through your current weight.)
Once your consultant receives your update, you will be asked to go for a 4 week blood test. The 4 week blood test is for everyone on the program. When you are asked to go however will depend on how you have been doing on your program etc.
:flirt: Hope this helps {cheerleader}
