My name -Jane, means: God Is Gracious. I love that! I hated my name when I was young. (Plain Jane). Although it is a very common name, I haven't met very many Jane's. Now that I'm older, I love my name. I had a grandchild named after me. That was pretty cool.

I have no idea what my name means but tying into what Jane said, I was the grandchild who got the name. People continually mistakenly call me "Kay" but I gently correct them saying, "no, it's Key... like key to your heart".

Kaliopi:a Greek name meaning "Beautiful voice."

I was so embarrassed of my name growing up, especially because teachers in school couldn't pronounce it properly. I adopted the name Kelli, instead.

After embracing my name and its history in mythology, made me realize how perfect the name suits me!

My name is Christin, and when split it means Christ In. I've been trying to google what it really means but google keeps correcting the spelling to Christine. Anyway my screen name has C2 in it because my older brother's name starts with a C as well, so he's C1 and i'm C2

I had actually never looked up what the meaning of my name was before looking @ this thread. I knew my mother picked the name after the Book of Joel in the bible, so I knew it was a Hebrew name, aside from that I knew nothing else. My name means "God is Willing".... I can't begin to describe what a smile that put on my face when I read it!

Holly means "Holy" and is normally related to Christmas because of the Holly tree.

I love the meaning of my name simply because it is a reminder to strive for the perfection of a life walked through with Christ. <3
