Hi everyone,
If anyone can answer this one quickly that would be great!!
I had my first meal at 8am this morning, my apple at 12pm and inadvertantly didn't have my 2nd meal until 4.15pm today. Hence by making sure I have 5 hours between proteins, I won't be able to eat until 9.15pm tonight. I know you're not meant to eat after 9pm, so can someone please advise me what I should do?
Thanks
Megsy

Hi Megsy
You may eat just a little bit later than 9pm if this happens really not too often. Using your example, I'd eat at 9:15pm as long as this is not routine and provided you go to bed after 10pm.
You may eat your fruit and crackers after 9pm.

Thankyou Wilma!! :hii:
Appreciate your prompt response. I'm not starving, but I want to make sure I do the right thing as I have my 4 week weigh in next Thursday morning and don't want to do the wrong thing.
Cheers

{hi} there Megsy
Sometimes we hear from people that they actually FORGET TO EAT... :innocent4: if you do find that this happens to you, a handy TIP: would be for you to set your Cellphone with a reminder every day to eat at a certain time.
:reading: For maximum results, always do your very best to follow all the rules as per Dr Cohen's instructions. :reading:

I also had a question that is quite similar to Megsy’s. With my work schedule, I am working until 2 am four nights a week. It’s at least 3 am (or later) before I get to the point of being able to go to sleep. Right now while the kids are in school, I’m having to get up between 7-7:30 am so getting my first meal in before 9:30 am or so is workable. Then all three meals are in by the 9 pm. My question is ~ when the kids are out of school in a month and getting a little extra sleep in the mornings is an option, getting my first meal in wouldn’t be as early as it is now. This will push the other two meals out later, which means the 3rd meal wouldn’t be done by 9 pm. I know you aren’t suppose to go to bed soon after eating, so is there any option of eating just a little later where I don’t go to bed until early morning? OR, do I sacrifice the extra sleep to ensure I get that first meal started early enough? For a mom that has been going on 3-4 hours sleep most nights, I so look forward to being able to sleep in a bit for the summer days. However, I DO NOT want ANY setbacks. I am continuing to see weight drop off, and I really like the direction in which I am heading. Anyone have any suggestions?

{hi} there Lolox4TS
If you are working shifts or late nights like you are until 2 am, you do not have to keep to the 9 pm rule. {noway} If your case you may move your last meal a few hours later. We recommend that you eat two hours or more before going to bed. So in your case even eating at 11 or even 12 pm would be fine, especially because you are only going to sleep at 3 am.
It is very important that you get more sleep, :sleeping:besides human growth hormone (your fat burning hormone) is produced at night while you are sleeping.
Shasha - can you help me please?
I'm flying to States in two days...and since there will be 6 hours difference (I fly from England in the morning and come to States around midday, but that will be already evening for me...)... so before I get to the hotel and everything and kind of trying to get into their time...
If I get hungry in the afternoon what do I do?
Ignore it or have another meal and if you had to do it what meal would you chose?
And - are seasickness pills, aspirin and claritin allowed? (not that I expect to use it at all, but I do have seasick on the boat sometimes)
THanks!{friendhug}

{hi} there Maya
If you find that you are very hungry because your day is so very much longer, I recommend that you have an extra Meal 2 or Meal 3 option.
If you are only a little hungry, add an extra fruit and 4 x extra crackers for that day.
Yes, you may take any medication that you normally would for seasickness. You may also use aspirin and claritin while you are on the 1st Personal Diet Program.
