hi, all..
guys, i'm still sooo incredibly hungry- the last couple of days were baaaad-
i'm weak, dizzy even feel down and almost depressed and last nite i was close 2 tears!
i know that part of this is cause my body is cleaning up and getting rid of "thinx"-
(i'm not good in giving stuff away- like inside, like outside, mayb?)
and part is there4, cause i'm flushed with toxic crap and cause i'm mentally not distracted from food a lot as i fix my baby meals almost every 2 hours (he's so small and not much of an eater-- i told u b4, i think)
so on all levels- physical, mental and emotional i'm suffering from this (physical) hunger and felling down-
but iz not so much that i crave 4 things or urge 2 eat any other food or am not content with the diet-
i'm, just hungry almost all the time (food doesnt last long- mayb cause i'm vegetarian) and i never experienced that kind of "stress" during a diet-
i did muuuch harder ones and was never that hungry.
and i was actually never so much of an overeater or had bingeing excesses-
i was "just" on starchy sweet treat-mode, esp. during 2 years of breast-feeding.. i had 2 feed myself also pretty "good".
anyway, my stomach was not so big that that could explain all that... buhuhu!
please, help!

:comfort:{bighug}{friendhug}
Dear Cyberella, these hugs are all for you. I just read your post and my heart went out to you, so the best I can do is send you a cyber hug for a fabulous cyber-bella!
I love reading your posts as I've always felt your enthusiasm, dedication and friendly happiness in your words. So I'm really sad for you that you're in this space.
So what can I do to help lift you back up? I'm not really sure, other to tell you I think you're fabulous! You're juggling your life with your gorgeous baby whichs is no easy task and you've made that commitment to become healther for both your sakes.
As far as the hunger aspect goes.... I encounter similar feelings and thoughts every few days and can get down. To be honest the best thing I find is to log on here and read the latest additions. Or another thing I do is ring a girlfriend back in Australia if I can, just to occupy my mind. Interaction with others has always been my rescue remedy as it stops me dwelling on just me!
I try to fiind something simple to uplift me - and often just my 5 month old or 4 year old will create something to help out of the blue (as I'm sure you know). My daughter keeps offering me her food like a carrot or biscuit telling me: "Go on mum you can have some, its good for girls!!" I have to laugh, then try to explain to her why mummy can't have any of those things... she struggles with that bit.
I also drink more water when I get that hungry pang. I do get de-motivated occasionally because honestly I've always been a lazy eater and only now doing this I've realised how much I depended on that quick fix of carbs, sweets etc. So I think we had similar eating habits, as I never had huge servings or binged - just made all the wrong choices.
I know you will bounce back Cyberella, cos we believe in you and we luv you! I hope me reaching through this forum has given you some comfort and know my thoughts are with you.
One more hug from all of us...

:crying: Dear Cyberella... now I'm crying too :comfort:
What amazing love and support group you have all around you :gurney: - that is so touching ... all your Diet Buddies here to lift you in their love...
A BIG THANK YOU to Megsy, Mrs Peel & Mama... who are all REAL DIET BUDDIES...
A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND IN DEED!!!
Now we need to attack this problem:
Firstly, you do eat fish? For the next week, I want you to choose Fish as many times a day as you are allowed to, the next most filling choice would be your Egg... one a day every day. Does that still leave you with one more choice? I am hoping not. If so, make tofu or mozarella cheese and veggies... whichever is MOST FILLING... but, preferably have fish twice a day (even if you don't feel like it...) Being full is better than being hungry. (Cheese and yogurt are the least filling meals.)
Next: please take a second multi-vitamin each and every day for the next 10 days as follows: 1 vitamin with breakfast and 1 vitamin with lunch.
If the weather is cold, please do dress warmly!
Please drink plenty of water (you can drink it warm if you like, but it must go in...) and also, do make use of the coffee, you did said it helped you. Space your fruit and crackers nicely between your meals and have 1/2 size fruit portions more often... this will be fine!
If you find that you are too hungry and that you feel shaky or dizzy, please do the following: Please ADD to your daily program one fruit and 5 crackers for the next 10 days. Then, start removing these extras from your daily menu, one by one, until you are back on the program sent to you.
There are a few things that could trigger hunger and I would like you to please go through the check list below carefully to make sure that you are not perhaps making a small mistake somewhere that can be leading to the hunger.
There could be a number of reasons for the hunger feeling:
1. Are you following the Eating Plan 100%?
If you are deviating at all, even if it does not seem that dramatic to you, you will not trigger the Human Growth Hormone, and you will still experience hunger. You must not skip meals, or have more or less than what is allowed on the Eating Plan.
2. Are you eating apple?
If so, leave the apple out, and replace with one of your other fruits (it may be triggering your hunger).
3. Are you drinking your minimum 2 liters of water a day?
If you are not, the toxin build up will interfere with the Human Growth Hormone and cause hunger.
4. Are you having more than two crackers together at the same time?
This will register in your body as a starch and result in interference with the growth hormone.
5. Are you not having “hidden” starch?
Check your herbs, spices, curry powder etc. to see that you are not having starch, modified starch, gluten, wheat-flour, crushed cereal, MSG and preservatives, and any such additives.
6. Are you not having too much fruit?
Fruit contains sugar, so having more than you are allowed will trigger insulin and interfere with the processes taking place in your body due to the Eating Plan. Remember: Do not have dried fruit or fruit juices. Do not squeeze lemon into your tea or water.
7. Are you not exercising too much?
Your body can cope with certain levels of exercise, but excessive amounts of exercise, or sudden bursts of activity (that the body is not used to) can trigger hunger.
8. Is the weather abnormally cold?
A cold spell can trigger hunger. Dress warmly. Make warm food.
9. Are you pre-menstrual?
Fluctuating hormones can trigger hunger (having an extra vitamin in the afternoon will help).
10. Are you taking a good multi-vitamin supplement?
It is essential to supplement the body while on the Eating Plan. Ensure the supplement you are taking has a B6 content of less than 5mg (more than that will trigger hunger).
11. Are you close to goal weight?
Hunger will come back when you are close to goal weight. It is a sign that you need to book for Refeeding.
12. Are you having yoghurt in the morning?
Change to Egg & Veg.
13. Are you having Cottage or Ricotta Cheese for lunch?
Change to Mozzarella Cheese.
14. Are you on any new medication?
HRT-Hormone Replacement Therapy, Cortisone, or sugar and alcohol contents in many medications can slow results and/or even disrupt the process totally).
If you spot any mistakes, the idea is to ELIMINATE THEM IMMEDIATELY.
Please consider eating chicken - it is a WHOLE LOT MORE FILLING!
In case you forgot: You can swop your meals around so that you have the most filling meals when you feel the hungriest. Some people prefer a bigger breakfast, if so, choose Meal 2 or Meal 3 for breakfast and then swop the others around...
Let me know if you have questions and how you feel... We are all here for you and you are going to succeed at this! We are here for you!!!

Hi Dear Cyberella,
Wow - you've gotten tons of good advice above from Shasha and such wonderful support so far. I wanted to put in my two cents too and just let you know I am sending positive thoughts your way. This is quite a journey we are all on and every journey has it ups and downs. You hang in there and PLEASE keep us posted on how you're feeling. You are such a positive spirit on these boards and it makes me sad to hear you are having a hard time. You're tough (you're a Mom!) so you can do anything you set your mind too. Your baby is beautiful and adorable and will be so thankful to have a healthier, happier you at the end of this journey.
All my best,

hi, girls!!!! :flower:
well, am i lucky or what?!?!
r nt u the best?!!!!!
iz so :love4:-warming 2 read all these nice things...
i am very very grateful and feel much better mentally!!!!
iz so good 2 know u all r there!!!
i checked everything on the hidden-mistakes-list and i dont see anything i could have done wrong..
only thing was serving sizes of fruit allowance:
i asked the consultanz and they told me that apples can b 180g,
pawpaw 140g, mango 120g...
i had bit bigger portions as i didnt know how much and apples and mangos in the markez r fairly big at present (even having only half of one was 2 much!)
last nite i was freezing and couldnt get warm till i was in bed.
the hunger was much less 2day, but was replaced by headache...and this afternoon was accompanied by some running nose.-- i hope i'll stay well. (i think we r not allowed any medication, is that right? like headache-tablets or medicine against flu?)
headache is still there but becomes better, i drink herbal tea and will go 2 bed soon.
and i'll try the fish more often-pomise!
(the chicken i wont b able 2 have-it costs me quite some effort 2 eat the fish!)
and the consultanz allowed one egg-whit additional 2 my egg!!!!!!!!!!!! juhuuuu!!!
i didnt have time 2 fix eggs this morning 4 the first time and had
yoghurt and
kiwi and
sweetner and
crumbled rice-cake and
bran-husks in a huuuge bowl-
it was delicious!!!!!
after that i had 2 run 2 the baby-swimming class with little mister cyberella and was 2 busy 2 b hungry...
and then i had 2 big meals left when i got home and 4 the evening!! yihaaa!-
but have 2 admit that i feel pretty weak still-
esp. 2day when coming out of the pool- i was almost shaky and (again!!) in a bad mood
--which is not (like) "me".
again, i love your support and help, greatest gang of all times!!
happy 2 have u and b part of this! {grouphug1}
love, always!
babi
ps; shasha, i think i'll try not 2 alter the program as yet--
if i get worse or like 2 days ago, i reconsider!
but, THANK U SO MUCH 4 the opportunity; it's a relieve, as i know now what 2 do in case i feel so very desperate and depressed again!!! (body chemistry really got me 2 days ago!!!)
thanxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx!!!!!!

Hello Dear Babi,
Glad to hear you're feeling a little better and so glad you are keeping a handle on your feelings, sharing with us and the consultants, and paying attention to your moods and your body. This is a huge adjustment so it's very natural that you are running into this snag. Another thing I thought about that helps me to not feel too hungry is to choose foods, vegetables with more volume than weight i.e. spinach salad vs. tomatoes/celery, etc. That way I get more food in my belly and I feel more full and it seems to last longer. I'm sure you've noticed this too, but figured I'd share. Also - like you said - the busier you are the more you "forget" to eat and don't notice how the time has flown by. I'm sure as a single Mom of 2 lil' ones that is not hard to accomplish. Again, keep us posted and stay on track to feeling better.

hey, bronwyn!!
hi, everybody!!
thank u again 4 "taking care of me"- :comfort:
iz such a good feeling!!
well, part of my "bad time" (beside the fact that the hunger isnt normal 6 weex after start) was obviously caused by my good old friend TOM- as u girls call this 'thing'...
iz a week early so i didnt think of it as a(n additional) cause, and as i never xperience problems b4, during or after menses i didnt assume it had anything 2 do with it.
but when i'm not on diet i am way more hungry those couple of days b4 having my period- so: no additional food => resulz in bad mood...:munchies:
besides a cold that i caught, i'm better now...
2day i was only emotionally hungry, not physically! well, and this one i can deal with way better...
"emotional hunger" is my middle name-if it was funny i'd write: bruhahar.. well, iz a little by now, as i'm in my 40's & learned 2 live with it- the last couple of years, when i found myself opening kitchen-drawers and cupboards searching 4 something 2 ease my emo-stress, i kept telling myself: u wont find a man, a life u'd like 2 have or your inner peace or anything else u need right now in here.....
and sometimes it really helped. at least i didnt need a diet b4 i fell pregnant and breast-fed 4 so long (2nd made me even fatter than the 9 month b4!!).
girls, in case i didnt tell ya: u all r the best!!{grouphug2}

:bighug: Cyberella
{sorry} That you are being hit by two things at the same time on top of dieting! Flu and TOM!!! Both of them cause you not to feel well!
About medication: you can take any medication that you normally use for headaches and flu as well as any prescribed by your personal doctor. Always try to find the sugar free, alcohol free options. It is better to have a capsule than a fizzy, because the fizzy drinks often contain flavouring that can trigger hunger.
In addition to the above, we recommend that you help your body with EXTRA VITAMIN C in capsule form. I've often found that having extra Vitamin C stops a cold in it's tracks!
Also, I want to ask that you read through my post again... I'm not saying that you are making any mistakes, but you may find some helpful tips and suggestions.
Take point 9 for example:
9. Are you pre-menstrual?
Fluctuating hormones can trigger hunger (having an extra vitamin in the afternoon will help).
Having this extra vitamin is not going to slow down your weight loss, it is simply giving your body the FOOD it needs.
Whenever we are pre-mens, our body is preparing for WAR... (come now ladies, blood shed means war...) as such, we need to collect and store up a couple of provisions. If you were living in a country of war, you would get food, blanket, candles, water etc. But your body cannot speak to you in English and it cannot say to you: I need 500 mg of vitamin C please. So it sends up a signal: HUNGER and hopefully you will eat the right food to help your body... You body also stores up extra water... and that in itself does not feel good and can lead to feeling of irritation, depression etc.
So, please take the EXTRA VITAMIN - especially because you have a cold as well and :bighug: I hope that you feel much better soon.
Another tip: when did you feel ''pretty weak still -esp. 2day when coming out of the pool- i was almost shaky and (again!!) in a bad mood" It was after the exercises. Now, that feeling is bound to be related to low blood pressure. Dieting can lower blood pressure and so can becoming ill, so can having your TOM and SO CAN EXERCISES... You had 4 out of 4!!!
How to fix the problem: take the second vitamin at lunchtime (this is not a suggestion, but an instruction) and, 20 minutes before you exercise, eat a fruit or 1/2 your fruit, then when you get out the pool you can eat the other half.
About being cold, well, it's actually a good sign... it means that you are loosing your excess insulation... the fat that use to keep you warm is now being flushed away. Your body will take a bit of time to adjust, in the meantime, a nice warm bath (not too hot because this can lower your blood pressure) can really be nice and warming. But don't stay in there too long, warm up and get out and dressed quickly while you still feel warm. Thermal socks work wonders! And, when you put them on, just keep imagining yourself in your blue jeans at your goal weight!!!
Your HOMEWORK: TAKE ONE EXTRA VITAMIN EVERY DAY AT LUNCHTIME FOR THE NEXT 10 DAYS and then we see how you feel. :comfort:

dear, concerned, always here 4 me-shasha!!
thank u 4 the advice and help!!
i havent stopped taking my 2 vitamins since u first told me (some 2 weex ago, or so)..
as this didnt ease my "pain", i even asked 2 consul if i could take 3 talbets as it says on the pacet that the dosis can b up 2 3 -- the reply was that they r concerned about the b6 and they r rite- 2 tabs already add up 2 6mg. so, i leave it at that.
is it also possible 2 take the vit c as a powder? the one i have home says- ingredienz: 100% ascorbic acid (pharmacy-quality). iz white and sour, 2 b diluted in water or tea. (i wanted 2 take it 2 days ago, cause meanwhile the nights r baaad- have a hard time breathing.. (iz the 4th cold since november, i'm getting annoyed soon).
not a very sportive attitude, but i admit i havent been exercising at all in the pool- rather carried my boybee around and made him do exercise and dive aso... (disgusting slave driver- me!!) :cop:
so, only being in the water already got me badly-
had i swom and really exercised i would have needed some ambulance-men 2 get out of there. (well, depending on the paramedix, but THAT could really have helped- esp. against the bad mood & co.. :jumping2:).
guess what: since i'm having the xtra egg-white (2nd day this morning) i feel like a bloody cheater-- i'm cheating on my diet buddies and i'm not feeling like starving anymore; there4 i feel guitly - am i insane or am i insane??!?!?!?!
fact is that i'm full waaay longer, even almost until lunch and at noon i'm not feeling like starving 2 that xtent that the meal still leaves me hungry, as i happened the last 6 weex.
and finally i'm not 2 weak 2 lift my feet when walking about or can even carry my child without feeling like fainting or shaking.
what i am concerned though is: if the diet might not work this way anymore...
please, wilma, secretary or shasha! can i get some information, in case u have xperience with vegetarians or dieters, who took an additional egg-white and still lost weight?
and please all my diet-frienz :love1:: dont b mad at me 4 having a "pork sausage", as we call special treatmenz here in austria (pork sausage is "extra-wurst"), but i cant eat chicken or poultry- have been a vegetarian 4 2 long and grew up in a butcher-shop..i've seen enough of it 4 a life-time!!
so, i hope i'm excused...
one more questions 2 the mods: is it allowed 2 take 5 homoepathic globules per day- one has the size of a millimeter big grain of sand and is made of lactose.
cyberella

oh, btw shasha! :clover:
u r 2 good 2 b true: :flower:
is there anything that wont make u find a positive side 2 it?! :party8:
like "the fllu is a good sign 4 loosing the insulation of the body" by getting rid of my extra-fat!! u r so amazing!! :party6:

Dear Babi,
We, of course, won't be mad at you for having an extra egg white. We are all on "like" journeys, but each of us has to take our own course and you are following instructions from teh mods and from the consultants which is so important. This diet is a bit extreme and that is why you MUST follow their advice and instruction to the finest detail. I am proud of you for not giving up when you felt so horrible. With regards to getting your period, I almost asked you earlier if that could be a factor, but as a woman I hate it when people go right to that when I'm in a bad mood so I didn't ask. Glad to hear it was a factor as that explains a lot. Also - I had a cold this week too. It does stink. One night I had a cough drop and felt like I was cheating on the diet too!! I did try to use all my veggie allowances with veggies that were more full of vitamin C like the green bell peppers and tomatoes and same with my fruit allowances (oranges, tangerines...) and I took extra vitamin C (in pill form). So far so good. I don't remember where you are living, but I use Zycam here (homeopathic remedy) and I swear by it! It actually kills the cold where it lives. They have nose swabs or tablets and lots of other products. I use the one that sounds best for that cold. My past history is I'd be SO sick for a week or more and since finding Zycam I'm only bad for a couple of days and then on to feeling better. Oh - I'm in California by the way.

my sister is coming 2 visit in summer, mayb she can get me some- in case i dont get them here.
my colds r dramatically by now- was sick almost right through from beginning of nov till middle of jan. :gurney:
i still havent taken the vit c as i wanted 2 wait 4 shasha's or mod's answer, but i'llb in bed soon, so i might as well take it and hope my powder's in order 2 take.

Hi There!
Yes - I'm living very near Los Angeles too. Small world, huh? Zycam comes in all kinds of forms. When I feel my cold mostly in my nose I use the nasal swabs. They have a gel that you swab on the inside of your nose and it kills the cold there. They also have what they call "rapid melts" which are lozenge-like and I use those mostly when the cold is in my throat or just general. They also have oral spray and I saw today that they have a flu-formula that is liquid. They probably have information on line and it might be good to try. Again, I swear by it, but everyone is different. I really hope you get to feeling better. Perhaps getting rid of all the toxic yuck with this diet will boost your immune system in the long run. Get some rest!

{hi} there Cyberella
It's time to go to your personal Doctor. If you've been sick since November, :comfort: it's way too long. I think you need some proper medical attention so now would be a good time to book an appointment with your doctor.
Always ask your doctor if he can prescribe alcohol free and sugar free medications. Please try not to use those containing sugar or alcohol. :gurney:
You may have plain unflavoured vitamin C. I'm not sure about the powder but if there is no flavouring in it, it should be fine to use. Remember that caffeine inhibits the absorption of Vitamin C.
I think you have misunderstood a bit, having flu is not a sign of dieting - but feeling COLD is a sign of your fat layers reducing. (Feeling cold, as apposed to feeling warm.)
You need to stay warm and try to get more rest... I know it's difficult, being a single Mom, but try whenever you can to catch up a bit on sleep.
YOU MUST EAT THE EXTRA EGG WHITE! and please do not feel guilty about it. I do not believe this will slow your progress down at all - it may even speed it up because egg white is pure protein ie: good nutrition for a vegetarian.
Please don't eat any pork while being on the program. Pork does come back on the Refeeding...
:bighug: I hope you feel much better soon!!!
Let's see what your doctor prescribes for you with regards to medication... I really believe that your body could use all the extra help it can get!!!

no, shasha; i didnt get stuff 4 myself, as i thought i wasnt allowed 2 take any medication and was concerned that everything i could possibly have might interfere with the hgh :noway:- i took vit c once and it was a bit better.
(besides, i prefer taking remidies that dont just supress symptoms but try 2 help my body cure the cause of my problem-
and homeopathíc medicine isnt allowed while on 1stpd)
while i was gone u guys lost all your tickers it seems?!?!
what happened- where have all the tickers gone...? :innocent4:
oh, yeah- my baby had a good nite sleep last nite-- and so did mommy (i went 2 bed early = with elias at baby-bed-time; the rite time 4 me!)

{hi} there Cyberella
{uhm} Some things have a higher priority than others, being well and healthy is more important than loosing weight. This is why I want you to get some medication from your doctor and to ask for sugar free alcohol free medication - these will have the least negative impact on your progress.
We can't have you being sick since last year - this will only drain your strength in the long run and there is no point in doing that.
I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better. Please take the vitamin C in plain tablet form or without any fruit or added flavourings EVERYDAY. We need something to boost your immunity... if you don't take good care of you, what will you do if you become too sick to take care of your Darling Baby? For his sake you need to make sure that his Mommy is well. Besides, if you have a cold, you are bound to spread the germs to everyone in your home - so please make some time to sort this out without further delay :gurney:

Hello dear ladies,
Sorry I've been out - Had a crazy, busy week at work and spent the last two days in Palm Springs visiting my Father in Law. Nice time, but busy busy. I looked at posts a couple of times over the week but didn't have time to post myself.
Cyberella, I'm so sorry you had such a hard time with your baby boy and I'm so glad to hear he's feeling better. That is SO hard on you emotionally and physically and I cannot imagine doing it by yourself. You are remarkable!! I do hope you'll take Shasha's advice, though, and see the doctor about your own health. You need every bit of strength you can muster for this diet and for taking care of your boys.
Thanks for noticing I was out. Again, sorry that I didn't keep in touch over the week. I missed you all!
I'm doing well. Managed to stay on plan on my trip but forgot my scale - of all things to forget!! - at my Pop-in-Law's house!!! My sister is going to lend me hers since she has completed refeeding and doesn't use it often. I was so mad last night I could scream!!! Had to guess at my meat/veggie portions last night but after 5 weeks on the program I feel I can eyeball pretty well. I had yogurt this morning so didn't have to weigh anything and I'll pick up the scale before I have to make my lunch.

Hi Cyberella,
I was thinking the same thing as Shasha - you are gorgeous!!! And you are right - your face will not be much rounder for long. BTW - When do you go to Bali? 6 weeks is a LONG time. Are you still going to be on program then?

hey, honey... thank u!!:flower:
sorry, bronwyn, i was just joking about leaving-- i thought being so distracted from the program while travelling would save me, so i pretended going 2 bali- :innocent4: (actually i have a friend living there 10 years already and still waiting 4 me 2 come visit...bad girl, me!)
i did a lot of :plane:travelling with my first boy when he was a baby-
3 times aroung the globe, but this time i have a school-kid 2 attend 2 and elias would miss his dad 2 much-
so i rather stay here- mayb go see my sis in L.A., but thaz about it 4 now...
still plan on walking once around the contintenz, but that i had 2 postpone 2 much later in my life- hope i can still do it without a walking cane, as i became mum again by the age of 39.
or i take a bike, wheelchair or in the worst case i travel in a coffin- naaa!
if all ropes tear (as we say in german- it sounz differently though, something like: "wenn alle stricke reissen") i'll do it in my future life...

cyberella, you must promise to let me know if you come to L.A.!! I would love to meet you - for a cup of BLACK coffee! :flirt:
There are a lot of us here on the plan - maybe we could have a get-together? (Cheapest party ever: a bunch of folks sitting around eating saltines and apples :()

oh, lovely mrs. peel!! :love7:
i had a good laugh rite now!! cheap it would b indeed.. ;)
but great!!!
same here, i'd LOOOOOOOOOOVE 2 meet u, i'd b honored :cloud9: !!
and curious about your latest nail-polish-style!!
i never bothered 2 much about nail polish, as my nails r not that hot and my fingers bend in all kind of directions- was actually sad in younger days as i find nice nails and polish very appealing..
so, this is my promise 2 u- whenever i get 2 L.A., i'll get in touch with u and really look 4ward 2 it!!!!
btw: most likely we're not going 2 b on this program anymore as we're slim and hot looking by then, so we should exchange mail-adresses. mine is: babi.filz@gmail.com or cyberella@gmx.at. i really hope we stay in touch!!
as u mentioned black coffee: in an act of desperation and as i save soooo much money by always staying home, never going out- i bought myself a cappucino-machine yesterday -silly, uhm, as i'm not a real coffee-drinker anymore.. but will try my chicory-coffee in this machine- ..sure shasha, AFTER the refeed!!
so i'll have real coffee as long as i'm on the program and after the refeed 4 breakfast mayb (no chicory-coffee allowed) with lactose-free milk--
just brewed my first cup and ... wow! I AM DIZZY!!!! :hypnotic:(4 the last hour already) strange reaction 2 coffee, i think!

{hi} there Everyone
Your posts above just go to show that Diet Buddies can become Friends for Life!
{rofl} Going out on a cheap date, getting black coffee and getting high on the caffeine in Cyberella's case - I guess it will look something like this :party4:
Cyberella: Feeling dizzy could definitely be a reaction to coffee if you are not use to drinking it... you could try the 'no fun' version ie: decaffeinated :flirt: I remember that I had a very similar reaction a few years ago when I was only drinking decaf for a long time and then suddenly had a mug of the REAL STUFF! I felt like I was on another planet!!! All spaced out! LOL

yeeeaaahhh!!
u got my drift.... :hypnotic: :wacky:
:rolling2:
i feel a bit stoned!!!
and in case u wonder y i write in bigger letters all the time- iz not cause i feel so important or believe that my wisdom is so utmost indispensable, nooooouuuuu, iz bcause i'm turning in2 a mole- as i hit 41 or better: as 41 hit me (rite in the face), it kind of destroyed my eye-sight and i'll b needing glasses- actually i AM needing them already- the way those letters keep moving around (hard 2 focus and keep track of them)..
now with my coffee-intake and the funny stuff, my eyes r showing me (iz evening and then it gez worse) i really feel like having had some pot- as faaaaaar as i remember how that felt. (gosh, i'm really getting old, here) -
but what the hell...
and if i dont see an oculist, i'll b writing like that soon....
cyberella
03-04-2008, 04:48 PM
and i sure hope that mrs.peel will b chummy with me in the "real" world!!!! {bighug}
our time spent 2gether is obviously quite limited :flag:, but i definately am goin 2 meet her and know 4 sure we'll get along great and will have a ball!!!!
we'll do some {bouncing}{wave}
in rememberance of the program... rite, mrs.peel!?

Hi Gals,
Oh - too bad you are not going to Bali Cyberella!! Nice that you make your imagination work for you though. Yes - keeping busy does help tremendously with this diet.
Guess what - I am in LA too!!! I think a get-together would be too fun. Keep me in the loop please. My email address is bdkeith@yahoo.com. When we're done with this program I agree that we must keep in touch. It's so fun to have friends from all over the world. Mrs. Peel, what a small world we live in, huh? You are SO funny about the "cheapest party in the world." I also had a good laugh at that.

hey, bron! :hii:
that is so very cool!
thanx 4 your adress :flower:- i already copied it in2 my adress-book!! iz gonna b so much fun, all of us getting 2gether!!
(4 a {grouphug1}, or 2 or 5) - might just take some time 4 me 2 :plane: over..lez see!
i remembered that u wrote earlier u were living close 2 LA!!
thaz y i promised my sweet sister 2 ask u where u got the zycam from- she's such a baby- living in LA 4 almost 10 years now and still havent found a pharmacy that sells homeopatic remedies!!! (well, she's not so much in2 health-stuff as i am, but hopefully that'll change now).
she's having some probs with nose and ears and i thought this zycam u told me about could help her!
what d'ya think?
Bronwyn
03-05-2008, 05:47 PM
Hi Cyberella,
I forgot you asked that question about your lil' sis w/her nose & ears. Not sure if Zycam would help. You can let her know that Zycam is available nearly everywhere here... At the supermarkets, pharmacies, etc. so she doesn't have to go to a special health-food store to get it. Hope she feels better soon! How are you feeling BTW?
MrsPeel

Cyberella, tell your sister that the premier source for homeopathic products in L.A. is Capitol Drugs in Sherman Oaks. Common remedies like Zycam and Oscillococcinum are available widely, in Whole Foods stores and many drugstores, but for the real serious individual remedies and nosodes, she should try Capitol.

thank u very much, mrs. peel!
she answered already that she goes there 2day as iz not far from toluca wooz where she lives!
i'm sure they find something 2 help her, as bronwyn wrote that zycam might not b the rite thing--
good 2 know that someone's gonna take care of her....:praying:

Babi,
I swear your sister and I probably live in almost the same neighborhood. I'm Toluca Lake adjacent - technically North Hollywood but right on the border of Toluca Lake and Burbank. Small world isn't it? I can't wait for you to be able to come out! Maybe you will stay here too, huh? Oh that's right. Baby's Daddy is involved and actually loves and cares for his son which is a very good thing. Yes, I guess you have to make that work as a priority, huh?

oh, bronwyn,
there r 2 hearz beating in my chest-

she's in north hw as well- :cupid:
they sold her the house as situated in toluca wooz/lake and when i was there 2 visit her, we had 2 go 2 a school-building where they gathered and discussed the fact that their adress is actually north hollywood...
been there, 2? :party1:
she's next 2 magnolia and cahuenga i think. (willowcrest ave)-
mayb u know her...hahaha- that would b a coincidence....

Oh my goodness!! I'm near the corner of Cahuenga and Camarillo. We are about a block or two away from each other! And YES - my past two apartments I lived in they told me "and the best thing is that you're in Toluca Lake" and when I set up my utilities it turned out I was in North Hollywood. So funny... I didn't mind being in a apartment, but I'd guess they used Toluca Lake to make the property sound more valuable when she was buying her home. We are still in an apartment but are going to start looking for a home. We REALLY want to move the central coast but my job is too great and too good to me for us to leave any time too soon.
That is good you and your sister have the web communication. Sure makes it easier in this day and age to keep in touch. Good to know you've got so much other family where you are, but I believe you mention that this sister was your favorite - or at least understood you the best.
cyberella

this is so very unreal- :rolling2:
camarillo was the one i was looking 4, but it didnt come 2 mind-
she also lives close 2 the corner camarillo and cahuenga-
u guys could mayb have a playdate when your son gez a bit bigger :jumping2: - my niece is 5 and has loz of play-dates in the neighbourhood!! this is so unbelieveable- out of all places in the world... ha?!? :party1:
