I don't want to be the one that posts only concerns...but I am in a need of some positive support.

I emailed the 5lbs away from my goal weight 17 days ago (on June 27th). And had to email again for a status check on how much longer (July 8th)? I was told that they would write to Dr. Cohen again.

My concern was that I had surpassed my lowest goal weight and was not feeling well and concerned about being below the lowest weight recommended. (not seen this weight since middle school) They did tell me to add one more fruit and 4 more crackers. Which I have, since then. It has helped maintain, though I am still below where I should be.

Now I have a new concern...sorry...I am 4 days away from being done with the allotted time. I see from others that the re feeding takes 2 to 4 weeks! So will I have to sign up/pay for a second session? Ugh!

I have emailed again these same concerns, however I have read so many insightful questions and answers through this site that I thought I would give it a go!

PLEASE NOTE: I am the biggest believer in this program! And only wish more would commit/find/discover/empower themselves as we have been able to do! :praying:

Don't worry about the 12 weeks. Once you order refeed before the end of 12 weeks, you don't have to sign up for a 2nd session.

17 days and no refeed??? I ordered mine 7 days ago and haven't heard back. I really hope yours comes soon.

wow, that's weird. I had to get a new blood test, Dr. Cohen received the results on a Friday and by the following Monday I had my refeed program. That's interesting that y'all are having to wait so long. When you mention that you've "emailed" do you mean you contacted your consultant? That's where I would start...

Ev,
I think your concern and asking about paying again just for Refeed are well founded.

When contacting Dr. Cohen or his consultants, do it through your personal web page. They send you a copy to you e-mail account but they always say that we should go to the web in order to reply or contact them. I'm pretty sure you've done that, but it's a good reminder for all of us.

I was at the very end of my last 12 weeks when I ordered refeed and they did not make me pay for another series.... you should be fine, especially since you ordered refeed a while ago.

Ladies, I got the "Re Feed" this AM!

They assured me I would not need to re-up with new dues, because they estimated that I should be through the re feed with in 15 days... "We see that your 15 day Re-feeding Program was sent to you. You may begin Re-feeding at once. You will be allowed the extra time needed in order for you to complete your 15 day Re-feeding program."

17 days...Maybe "ALL GOOD", Doctor Cohen's deserve a Holiday too! And I just happened to catch him away from his regular duties.

I am "emailing" through my personal web page...but thank you for the reminder.

I must say the Re Feed guide (the 30 minutes I had to read it this morning)is enlightening...:hypnotic: I cannot wait to begin tomorrow, but I also feel myself getting nervous and a bit anxious about what the future holds for me and my personal chemistry set! :praying:

Thanks so much for your comments/suggestions and insight!

Do you know what my BIGGEST fear is for refeed???? That after one or two days I'll gain 2 pounds, repeat the last two days and gain another 2 pounds and THAT'S THE SIZE MEALS I'LL HAVE TO STAY FOR FOREVER!! (hopefully this fear will NOT come true!)....LOL

Melissa-my days are as follows: 4 to 8 then 13, 15, 16, 18, 19,22,23,26,27 & 29. How about yours?

Phyllis - lets not let our fears get the better of us! Having read the Re-feed, I too envisioned worst case scenarios, but have settled on "our" results speaking volumes. There are so many things for us to be thankful for! (I had to tell my Mom she is too old for the program) :(

I too feel that I need to say "Thanks Phyllis", thank you for being such a big contributor to this site. I have taken so much of your encouragement (given to others) and applied it to my needs. Thank you!!!

On To the Re Feed! Yahoooooooo! :weights:

I started a new thread in the refeeding section and I posted my days there. Mine is a little longer than yours as I have days 3-10 to start.

Phyllis! You have been such an encouragement to all of us on this forum. I don't think it would be possible to gain 2lbs from eating 100g of blueberries........so no worries there. You'll do great on refeed.

{hi} there Phyllis

I just wanted to say that I don’t think you will gain weight because you’ve been following your eating plan so well!

The problem with weight gain during the Re-feeding Program is often found when people deviate and then try to Re-feed when their hormones are out of balance - it is for this reason that you should be sure to follow your eating plan 100% for at least TWO WEEKS BEFORE RE-FEEDING so that your hormones are stabilized.

All the best, hang in there, you are nearly home!!!{cheerleader}
