I was wondering what types of vitamins everyone is using, and if it really makes a difference? I have just completed week 10, and will be signing up for another 12 weeks to get the rest of the weight off, but I haven't taken a vitamin all along. I'm noticing the weight is not coming off as quickly the past week or so, and was wondering if the vitamin had something to do with it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks guys!!

I just asked my consultant and this is what they wrote back:

"The Centrum multivitamin is a supplement which contains all of the vitamins and minerals that Dr. Cohen requires for the program. The chromium in the supplement helps prevent cravings."

Hope that helps.

Thank you for sharing that Melissa. The vitamins upset my stomach so I have not been taking them but will try again!

I take what they recommended. If it is taken with meals it should not upset your your stomach.

I also take Centrum. It's interesting that with past diets I always found that taking the Centrum would stall my weightloss. Taking the extra vitamin each day seems to fill me with more energy and far less cravings. And...unless it's a fluke, a few days after I started the twice a day vitamin I lost 3 pounds over the weekend....

{goodjob}:clapping3: {goodjob} I always think of vitamins as power packed nutrients... if your body was in anyway shorting anything, taking the extra vitamins sure helped to sort that out and the cravings become something of the past! I found it very interesting to see that soon after adding a second vitamin you had a drastic drop on the scale… thanks for sharing!

Thank you Shasha!! Hey....I lost another pound this morning! whoo hoo!
I made an edible fruit bouquet tonight for a bridal shower at school tomorrow. I was really good and only had a teensy piece of pineapple to make sure it was a good one!! Here's a picture of my model that I got off the edible bouquet website. I understand why they are so pricey...it took me an hour and a half to put together not to mention the cost of the fruit....but it was a labor of love!
We received one at Easter and I saved all the picks and foam, etc. I am basically cheap!!! LOL
I didn't do the chocolate dipped strawberries...but I DID make pineapple flowers like in the picture!!

OMG that is GORGEOUS, Phyllis!!!! What a special gift!!!!!

I just looked at my vitamins and they EXPIRED more than a YEAR AGO!!!!! Dang things were new when I started the diet! meaning I bought them about 4 months ago.....so they'd been sitting on the shelf for a long time!!!!

Anyway, bought a NEW pkg and can't wait to start feeling the love of two GOOD vitamins a day! YEEE HAW!!!!

And....you'll notice, there was fruit in there that I could have, too!! While the others munched on non-Cohen friendly food, I had some cantaloupe and honeydew melon!!
