2day i just had zucchini-chips as starter and some mango-tofu-cream as lun/sert--
amazingly: 4 the first time since i'm on this program i'm actually FULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yiiiiiiiihaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!:party6:
the planned mango-icecream fell victim 2 my overloaded freezer, as i just packed everything in there when i started the diet... :innocent4:
so, no space 2 frost my ice machine-bowl.
i just blended my mango and tofu and sweetner and put it on very coooold in the fridge-
it was sooo nice... 2 make it real yummy u have 2 make sure though that the mango, (peach, nectarine abricot or kiwi) is very, very ripe and tasty and that u might want 2 add more than the 120g mango-allowance... meaning, not 2 cheat, but 2 add 1 and a half of your fruit-allowance. the tofu otherwise can take over the taste a bit. and add some sweetner or mayb cinnamon.
"tofu doesnt have a taste" u might think, well, not really, but iz got iz own "way", somehow...
it was soooo much food and so very compact.. :jumping2:
(i ate so very long and rite out of the blender 2 not loose anything 2 the process of filling it in2 some other dish.. bruhar!)
i'm all euphoric 4 being so very happily F:U:L:L:L:L:L:o) tirili!!! :cloud9:

KIWI AND GREEN TEA SORBET :icecream:

Brew 2 cups of green tea and let cool
Kiwi Fruit (allowance)

Method: :party1:
Peel, then mash your allowance of kiwi fruit with a fork making sure it is not too fine. Sweeten green tea to taste with powdered sweetener. Add mashed kiwi fruit. Pour into a shallow dish and allow to freeze, mixing occasionally to allow ice to set evenly. When frozen, scoop out sorbet and serve in a tall glass with a sprig of mint. :party1:

ENJOY!!! :icecream:

{hi} there Cyberella

YES! You may have Paw Paw on your eating plan IF this is available in your area. HOWEVER, Paw Paw (which is orange in color with a more round shape fruit) must not be confused with Papapino (which is pink in color with a more oval shape fruit).

180 grams of PAW PAW = 1 fruit from your allowance: ENJOY!

Yogurt Ice-Cream Tips: :icecream:

If you find the ice-cream is a bit too cold for breakfast, you may swop your meals around and choose to eat Meal 1 for Lunch or even for Dinner.

Please remember to have your YOGURT as a MEAL, this means you should eat it all in ONE GO and you should not have some now and save the rest for later later...

If your Ice-Cream is not made with yogurt, but made only using fruit and diet soda or fruit and tea, you may have it at any time. :icecream:

Slushy Coffee ''Ice-Cream'' :party7:

2 Tsp of Coffee Powder (stronger if you like)
Sweetener
Cold Water
Crushed Ice

Method: :party7:

Blend all the above together to make a nice slushy iced coffee smoothie...

Depending on how much of ice and water you add you can make different consistencies of drinkable ice-cream! :party7:

Tip: If you like Coffee, you could make frozen Ice-popsicles. :icecream:

{hi} there Cyberella

To be sure, I bring you a picture of the Pawpaw and the Pawpaw tree:

You are NOT ALLOWED to have the one with the pink fruit called papino - papino is longer and more oval in shape and is not allowed.

You can see that the Pawpaw has a round bottom end.

Thanks for your YummY tofu ice-cream recipe idea... :icecream:

:icecream: It is getting cold in here: Bbbrrrrrrrr {rofl}

Thanks Shasha and Cyberella!

What great news, now it's definately creation time for smoothies. I look forward to the warmer months even more now with that as a refreshing option. Never been a big user of Mangos before, but they're certainly a versitile fruit aren't they?

Just wanted to add that I sooo look forward to reading the New Posts everyday - it's provides me motivation, support and answers lots of questions. And also the insight to the different journeys we are all travelling, we are all on the same path but as we are all individuals so is the journey!

{hi} Cyberella

If you (or anyone else reading this) can find the right Pawpaw, you can certainly eat it.
:bighug:

The reason why it is left out of the New Customer Guide is because it is NOT freely available in all area's throughout the US and so some customers will not be able to find this fruit :crying:

YES > Paw paw = papaya – just remember, you need to get the orange color fruit, the pink one is one allowed...

SurferGirl

Ingredients:
fruit (allowance)
water
sweetner

Blend fruit until smooth, add water and sweetner. Freeze and voila! I found that 1 fruit makes about 4 big popsicles! I love mango and peach ones, and it's so easy!

Yummy on these hot summer days!

I have the worst sweet tooth and ever since I started the diet (this is my 2nd week) i've craved sweets more than ever.

These ideas are amazing, thank you so much! I know these allowed sweet desserts will save me from eating a gallon of chocolate ice cream and ruining my progress.

Thank you!!:party1:

DELICIOUS LEMON AND MANGO SORBET :icecream:

100 gram Mango (allowance)
250ml of Shweppes Lemon lite

Hi! I want to try this but I don't know what the Shweppes Lemon Lite is. Can we get it in the states? Thanks!

Hi Christina.....
I know that Scwheppes is sold where alcoholic beverages are sold. But, I think you could safely substitute diet Sprite or Sprite Zero. In fact I know you can use Sprite and it will come out fantastic as I've made this several times before. It is VERY good!!! The best thing to do is to freeze your portion of mango and then add the Sprite and blend it that way...it makes it so slushy and yummy!
