Hello All,

I know I did not participate in the forum while I was on the diet. I am busy and I didn't think I needed the support then because I was able to stay focused and on track.

Tomorrow is my first day of maintenance and now I don't feel as though I really know what to do. I have studied life after the diet well, but there are so many foods that would be in my regular non-diet day. I don't really know what to keep out of my non-diet life forever. For those of you reading this that have finished, do you pretty much eat the foods on the plan for life just not measuring them?

I am sure I am not the only one a bit stressed about putting the weight back on. :hypnotic:

I'd love to hear some feedback. :)

Lisa,
you can always read our refeed journals and at the end of some of them you will see what some of us are eating now.
I NEVER say that there are foods I am unable to eat. Just realize that you need to use moderation (which sometimes I forget about) and you need to make sure it is one meal besides breakfast. It is really easy to maintain if you follow your weight everyday. When you go up 2-3 pounds I just go no carb for 24-48 hours and it comes right off.
I have two snacks of cheese and 4 diet crackers everyday between meals. Breakfast is usually vanilla yogurt or cheese with crackers. Lunch is usually cohen friendly with bigger portions and dinner is usually a new food, salad with a snack.
if you follow his rules you should never have to measure. It really is easy and simple. No reason to stress:)

Pam,

Thanks so much for the reply. How long have you been keeping your weight off? Did you feel like, now what when you first went out into the real world, too?

Your advice was great and I will take a look at your re-feed endings. I pretty much followed Shawn's re-feeding as that really worked for me.

Thanks again!!
